Drennan Umbrellas

A strong and reliable umbrella from Drennan that is also incredibly lightweight. Available in two sizes there is a size to suit every swim and situation. Both models have the same length adjustable pole, extend­able to approx­im­ately 2.3m. This ensures it can be pushed deep into the ground yet still allow plenty of height for you to sit under.

Drennan have spent con­sid­er­able time per­fecting the three-position angle tilt mech­anism so that it can be securely locked at hori­zontal, 30º and 90º (ver­tical) angles, should you wish. The outer is made from dur­able, PU coated, rot-proof, poly­ester with taped seams to keep out the ele­ments. The 44in model also fea­tures slightly lighter fabric to keep the overall weight down for anglers who prefer to travel light. At just 2.35kg this model is approx­im­ately 16% lighter than the 50in (2.8kg) design. Securing rings allow you to peg one or more of the panels flush to the ground when it is used at 30º or ver­tical pos­i­tions. There are also four ribs with a remov­able ‘sta­bil­iser’ attach­ment. This has a standard 3/8in BSF thread that will accom­modate a bank­stick or storm pole for an even stur­dier setup. Two ground pegs and a 3m adjustable cord are also supplied. The entire package is fin­ished off nicely with a drawstring bag made from the same PU coated material.
