These can be used how they were originally made or can be cut down with a knife or scissors so that they can suit your personal preference. They have left the inserts orange or yellow but these can be modified by using black paint or a marker pen to reduce the amount of colour.
This unique design has been developed for use on stillwaters and slow moving rivers. The crosshead insert gives an illusion of a solid colour at distance but because of the shape it is ultra-sensitive. This means less resistance to fish and more time for you to hit the bite!
Recommended shotting for these are with the majority of the shot locking the float onto the line and a No8 shot down the line for every two foot of water.
